What this site collects, and why.
This page covers strewhub.com and the founding pre-order. It’s written to be read, not skimmed past.
What we collect
- Your email, if you join the founding-family list, ask for the free kit or pre-order, so we can tell you when pre-orders open and send the kit, build updates and your receipts. With a list sign-up we also keep which headline you saw and the link you came from (e.g. utm_source), to learn which page works.
- Payment details are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep your order: email, option, amount, date, and how you heard about us if you tell us.
- Usage: we count page visits and clicks with PostHog to learn what helps parents decide. It uses your browser’s local storage, not cookies, and it respects Do Not Track. We don’t record your screen.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your data, or show ads.
- Collect anything from children on this site. It’s for parents.
Who processes data for us
- Stripe (payments), Supabase (our database), Resend (email), PostHog (usage counts), Vercel (hosting).
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email with one reply.
- Ask us to export or delete everything we hold about you: write to hello@strewhub.com. We’ll do it within 30 days; we keep payment records only as long as the law requires.
Children and the StrewHub app
Children never appear on anything public. Before founding families create any child profile in the app, the app will show its own privacy notice, including how parental consent works. Only parents publish plans, and public plans never include photos of children.
